On October 3rd, 2019, the first Polish edition of IPC Day, an event organized by the American association IPC in individual European countries, dedicated for representatives of the most significant companies in the electronics industry in a given region, took place.

The Polish edition of the event was organized in cooperation with RENEX Electronics Education Center – the largest Authorized IPC Training Center in Central and Eastern Europe – an IPC partner that has been operating for over 20 years.

The meeting was attended by more than 70 specialists from Poland and Europe in the field of production and repair of electronic assemblies, thus it was an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience and find solutions for the troublesome practical problems.

The main speaker of the event was Philippe Léonard, Director of IPC Europe, who discussed issues related to the development, updating and implementation of IPC standards.

The event was also attended by global corporations: YAMAHA and TAGARNO, whose representatives Andreas Guenewald, Sławomir Florian and Kristoffer Tømmergaard presented in theory and practice technological solutions from the field of optical inspection allowing to adapt production to global IPC standards.

There was also a Polish accent at the conference – Marcin Sudomir, Master IPC Trainer on behalf of RENEX EEC, gave a lecture on the criteria for evaluating electronic assemblies using SMT.

The event took place in Włocławek in the RENEX conference spaces and in the new RENEX Technology Centre. RENEX, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is one of the largest and longest operating Polish companies, providing the latest technologies and comprehensive support for the electronics industry.
