Yamaha Motor Robotics SMT Section has showcased its latest innovations for intelligent manufacturing at SMTconnect 2022, demonstrating the 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION that combines cutting-edge assembly and inspection technologies.

The Yamaha booth offered several highlights to visitors this year, including the YRM20 latest-generation mounter bringing innovations including overdrive motion, the super-high-speed rotary head and eATS30 non-stop tray feeder. Moreover, the latest YRi-V 3D AOI system with enhanced optics, faster image processing, and AI-assisted library creation. Most of the performance and repeatability of the YSP10 screen printer were showcased, introducing fully automated stencil changeovers for superior speed and accuracy. Yamaha’s inline equipment comes together as the 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION for surface-mount assembly, raising the level of inter-machine communication to give a further boost to productivity. Visitors benefited from Yamaha’s live demonstrations showing how solutions meet their particular requests. They discovered Yamaha new technologies and the potential of Yamaha intelligent factory to maximize their line productivity.
An area dedicated to software innovation highlighted the many standard tools and options, from machine-level to factory-wide, that simplify interaction and boost productivity. The state-of-the-art graphical user interface for equipment such as the YRM20 enhances setup and changeover, maximise production performance, and accelerates operator training. The configurable YSUP factory tools provide flexible options to optimise line performance, ease status monitoring, manage traceability, and take advantage of real-time and historical analytics.
