New connected services for sharing latest technologies, technical training, and field support

Yamaha Motor Europe SMT Section has setup an online demonstration room at its head office in Neuss, Germany, enabling visitors located anywhere in Europe to discover new technologies and solutions by connecting from their desktops. In addition Yamaha has launched its Cloud Service to enhance remote support for equipment in the field, helping customers maximize productivity.

The online demonstrations are arranged individually on request and presented in high-quality video. The experience lets visitors virtually step live into the room, giving the opportunity to examine latest equipment features, newest developments and setups in detail and see the requested process, such as screen printing, mounting, or inspection, in close-up action. The content can be tailored to meet specific requirements and two-way interaction allows real-time Q&A with Yamaha’s product and engineering specialists.

Flexible presentation formats can include sales demonstrations, new-product introductions, and tailored technical training sessions. Appointments can be made by contacting any local Yamaha representative or sales agent.

Yamaha Service Solutions

Complementing the online, travel-free demonstrations and training, Yamaha Service Solutions introducing the new Yamaha Remote Support software enables Yamaha service to connect securely to customers’ equipment directly from the service desk in Neuss. The software synchronizes the user interface of the customer’s equipment with the agent’s desktop and provides special tools to help analyze machine data and resolve issues quickly while connected. The software also supports online chat during the remote session, allowing easy dialogue to enhance convenience and comfort for customers.

Service desk support is delivered securely leveraging Yamaha remote support.
